Privacy Policy

HackdEvo ("we", "us") is a social fitness app that lets you track your training, set goals and compete with friends. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Account details: your email address, password and (optionally) your full name. Your password is stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider — we never see it in plain text.

Profile details: your username, profile photo and, if you choose to add them, body measurements and progress photos.

Training details: your workouts, exercise entries, goals, achievements, competition entries, notes and messages you send to other athletes.

We record when your account is created, when you log workouts, your streaks and your scores in competitions. We do not collect your device location or your contacts.

Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We store only your subscription status and plan (monthly or yearly) so we know which features to unlock. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment information you provide to them.

Photos and camera: only if you choose to upload a profile picture or progress photo.

Notifications: only if you allow them, so we can alert you to friend requests and competition activity. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.

To create and secure your account, run the app, show your progress and history, power streaks and leaderboards, deliver social features such as friend requests and competition invites, provide AI workout suggestions you request, process your subscription, and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Your username, profile photo and public training activity (such as workouts you share to the feed, and your score in competitions you both joined) are visible to your friends and to other participants in the same competition. Your email address is never shown to other users.

You control whether your completed workouts are broadcast to the feed.

We share data only with the providers that make the app work: our cloud hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, Stripe for subscription payments, and the AI service that generates training plans when you ask for one. These providers may only process your data on our instructions.

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your profile — this permanently removes your account and your training data. If you would rather not do this yourself, contact us and we will action the request for you.

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled servers. Access to your records is restricted so that you can only see your own data, alongside the social content you have chosen to share.

HackdEvo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

If we make a significant change to this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
